A Review of the 2019 Energy Storage Systems Conference

In its 20th year, ITB’s conference remains the premier technical event in North America focused on the latest trends, technologies, regulations, and developments shaping automotive fuel systems, components, and alternative energy systems. We provide a unique platform where global experts convene to gain insight from industry leaders, connect with their peers, discover engineering solutions/advancements, and make valuable business development connections with current and potential customers.

Over two days, over 330 attendees were treated to 21 presentations within 9 sessions covering fuel line developments, OEM perspectives, PHEV fuel tanks, tank systems, vehicle performance, simulation and vapor emission control. Presentation highlights included:

  • Supplier Keynote – Driving the Future – Jörg Rautenstrauch, President and CEO, Kautex Textron (Germany)
  • Latest Fuel System for new RAV4 – Takuya Tadokoro, Assistant Manager, Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan)
  • The Science of Influence and Persuasion – Utilizing Hard Science for Soft Skills – Dil Sidhu, Chief Content Officer, Coursera (U.S.A.)

Additional presenting companies at the event include AGC Chemicals Americas, Arkema, Continental Powertrain North America, Delphi Technologies, First Sensor Mobility, LyondellBasell, National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), National Research Council Canada, Plastic Omnium, Röchling Automotive, Stant, and Vacuum Engineering.

Our 2019 conference bustled with activity and impactful conversations carried on throughout the entire event.
