In 2021, ITB’s 22nd annual Automotive Energy Storage Systems conference took place in-person and brought together leading supplier and OEM experts to attend and showcase cutting-edge innovations in fuel system materials, components, SCR systems, biofuels, natural gas, and hydrogen for transport. Highlights included:

  • An overview by the U.S. Department of Energy on their developments in hydrogen fuel cells in light and heavy-duty transport applications
  • A presentation by General Motors on the adoption of renewal diesel in the U.S. and global markets
  • A discussion from Michigan State University on railways and potential future applications
  • Key developments from leading tier and material suppliers

160+ attendees took advantage of the active in-person atmosphere, participating in 20 presentations within 7 sessions. Breakout networking sessions, a full exhibit hall, and a relaxed evening reception promoted the exchange of ideas and helped set the stage for future meetings, discussions, and business collaborations.

Planning for future fuel system and energy storage conferences (USA and China) are already underway and we welcome key companies to join us, participate, and lead the conference with discussions and showcases of key technologies and developments shaping our industry.

  • Fuel Systems for Mobility 2022 – May 11th and 12th in Novi, Michigan USA
  • Automotive Energy Storage Systems China 2022 – October 2022 in Shanghai, China (additional details will be published soon)
