Given the well-controlled viral situation in China and its rapidly rebounding automotive market, The ITB Group recently held its 14th leading Automotive Energy Storage Systems China (formerly Automotive Fuel Systems) conference as a face-to-face on-site event in Shanghai. This premier event attracted 175 automotive professionals (approximately 37% from OEMs) who assembled to discuss paramount topics impacting the industry, showcase revolutionary technologies, promote engineering solutions, and develop new business ideas and leads.
The ITB Group’s Managing Director and Co-founder, Dr. Joel Kopinsky, welcomed the attendees with a remote presentation and the event was later hosted by two invited chairmen who are experts from Chinese local OEMs, GAC and SAIC. Thirteen insightful presentations over four dynamic sessions were provided. Topics varied from innovative material developments, analysis of China NEV market development and prospects of policy influence, recent component and testing developments, emerging fuel tank designs, as well as high pressure hydrogen vessel solution. Their booths, along with 9 other leading companies, were present in the adjacent exhibit hall where key fuel and energy storage innovations and developments were showcased. In the big picture of a safe meeting environment, the full and bustled ballrooms enabled direct technical communication and effective business networking, and conference participants were able to best leverage the depth and scope of ITB’s technical event.
