One of the start-up organizations that ITB is collaborating with is MazLite (Toronto, Canada). MazLite’s DropSizer technology can be used in a manufacturing environment to image and size droplets, particles, and bubbles and to characterize multi-phase systems. The system can operate in extreme and hazardous environments for different industries (painting, coating, agriculture, pharmaceutical, food, aerospace, etc.). The system has a built-in processing unit, which makes it independent of PCs and software installation. Overall the DropSizer unit is compact, flexible, robust, reliable, and easy-to-use.
